Bring an object - treasured or common, lost or found - and Emily will paint it for you.

Please arrive at the beginning of your time slot and keep in mind that you may need to wait up to an hour for your painting, so please plan accordingly.

100% of the proceeds from your ticket will be donated to Art Start.

Some ground rules:

1. One painting per person, please! 
2. Objects, only! No animals, people, living creatures, or depictions of living creatures (e.g. no paintings of a painting of your cat, Mary)
3. If your object is especially treasured, or large, or lost in space, or fragile as a soufflé, then you can bring in a photo or share one on your phone.

ABOUT ART START

Art Start is a New York City-based non-profit organization that uses the arts to save lives and transform communities. Art Start kids are at-risk youth between the ages of 5 - 21 who live in city shelters, on the streets, are involved in court cases, or surviving with parents in crisis. 

Art Start’s daily creative arts workshops taking place inside some of the city’s loneliest places and seek to nurture the creativity and talents of their participants, while instilling the confidence to pursue meaningful opportunities in life.

To note:

Your ticket secures one of three appointments during your time slot (e.g. If you purchase a noon - 1pm slot, Emily will paint your object during one 20 minute appointment during that hour.) Your exact appointment time will be determined on a first-come, first serve basis, upon arrival at Brunette. Please plan to be at Brunette for the full hour of your time slot, in order to ensure Emily will have time to paint your object.
